Terms of Service & Refund Policy

1. Agreement

By installing or using Modern Frontend Inspector (“MFI”) or purchasing a license, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.

2. The Free plan

MFI’s core features are provided free of charge, with unlimited use and no daily quota. The Free plan is licensed on the same terms as below and requires no account or payment.

3. License grant (Pro)

A Pro license grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Pro features of MFI, subject to these terms:

• A license key is issued for your use after purchase and must be activated inside the extension.
• Each license supports one active activation at a time. Removing a license returns that installation to the Free plan. If you need to transfer a license to another device and the previous activation is still counted, contact support.
• Sharing, reselling, or publicly distributing a license key is not permitted and may result in the key being revoked.

4. Acceptable use

You may use MFI on any website, including your own projects and sites you have been given permission to work on. You may not use MFI to gain unauthorized access to systems or to circumvent technical protection measures of websites you do not have the right to modify. You remain responsible for how you use the tool and for complying with the terms of the sites you inspect.

5. Payment and billing

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, applicable taxes, and order confirmation emails. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout (monthly or annual) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked on our Support page; cancellation stops future renewals, and Pro features remain active until the end of the paid period.

6. Refund policy

We offer a 14-day refund for licenses that have not been activated. If a Pro license does not work for you, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the license key has not been activated in the extension. Activated keys are refundable at our discretion if a verified technical fault prevents the Pro features from working and we cannot resolve it. Refund requests go through the address on our Support page and are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. This policy does not limit any statutory consumer rights you may have.

7. Intellectual property

MFI, including its code, interface and this website, is owned by its developer and protected by copyright. You keep full ownership of everything you create with the tool — the pages you inspect and the CSS, HTML, Tailwind or token output you export are yours.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

MFI is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted or error-free, and inspection results depend on the structure and behavior of the pages being inspected.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, MFI. Total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, for Free-plan use, to zero).

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The current version is always on this page, and significant changes will be noted there. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
